1. Overview
This Purchase Policy describes the terms governing purchases made through the Travel Pilot mobile application ("App"), including the Travel Pilot Premium subscription. By making a purchase, you agree to the terms set forth in this policy.
2. Premium Subscription
Travel Pilot offers a premium subscription ("Travel Pilot Premium") that unlocks additional features beyond the free tier.

2.2 Premium Features
- Unlimited travel plans
- AI-powered itinerary generation (up to 5 generations per hour)
- AI-powered itinerary editing and optimization
- Plan sharing with edit permissions
- Priority search results
3. Billing & Payment
3.1 Payment Processing
All purchases are processed through the platform's native payment system:
- iOS: Apple App Store In-App Purchase
- Android: Google Play Billing
Travel Pilot does not directly collect, process, or store your payment information (credit card numbers, bank details). All payment data is handled exclusively by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective terms and privacy policies.
3.2 Pricing
The subscription is billed annually. Pricing varies by region based on the pricing tiers set by Apple or Google. The applicable price in your local currency will be displayed in the App Store or Google Play before you confirm your purchase.
3.3 Taxes
Prices may be subject to applicable taxes (VAT, sales tax, etc.) as determined by Apple or Google based on your location. Any applicable taxes will be included in the final price shown at checkout.
4. Subscription Term & Renewal
4.1 Subscription Period
The Travel Pilot Premium subscription is billed annually. The subscription period begins on the date of purchase and lasts for 365 days.
4.2 Auto-Renewal
Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each subscription period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal charge will be applied to your payment method on file with Apple or Google at the same price as the original subscription, unless the price has changed (in which case you will be notified in advance).
4.3 Price Changes
Travel Pilot reserves the right to change subscription pricing. Any price increase will not affect your current subscription period. You will be notified of price changes before your next renewal, and you may cancel before the new price takes effect.
5. Cancellation
5.1 How to Cancel
You may cancel your subscription at any time through:
- iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Travel Pilot > Cancel Subscription
- Android: Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > Travel Pilot > Cancel Subscription
- In the App: Profile > Subscription > Cancel
5.2 Effect of Cancellation
When you cancel your subscription:
- Your premium features remain active until the end of the current paid subscription period.
- After the subscription period expires, your account reverts to the free tier.
- Your existing travel plans and data are preserved, but you will be limited to one active plan.
- No partial refunds are issued for the remaining time in the current subscription period.
6. Refunds
6.1 Refund Policy
Since all purchases are processed by Apple or Google, refund requests must be directed to the respective platform:
- iOS: Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com
- Android: Request a refund through the Google Play Store or at play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory
Refund eligibility and processing are subject to Apple's or Google's respective refund policies. Travel Pilot does not have the ability to process refunds directly.
6.2 Exceptional Circumstances
If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing premium features during your subscription period, please contact us at support@travelpilotapp.com. We will investigate the issue and, where appropriate, assist you with the refund process through the applicable platform.
7. Free Trials & Promotions
Travel Pilot may from time to time offer free trial periods or promotional pricing. The specific terms of any trial or promotion will be disclosed at the time of the offer. Unless you cancel before the trial or promotional period ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the standard rate.
8. Account Deletion
Deleting your Travel Pilot account does not automatically cancel your subscription. Before deleting your account, you must cancel your subscription through the App Store or Google Play as described in Section 5.1. If you delete your account without canceling your subscription, you will continue to be charged by Apple or Google until you cancel directly through their platform.
9. Service Availability
Travel Pilot strives to maintain continuous availability of premium features but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, unexpected outages, or third-party service disruptions (including AI service unavailability) do not entitle subscribers to refunds or subscription extensions, except as described in Section 6.2.
When the AI service (Google Gemini) is unavailable, the Service will use an alternative deterministic generation system to provide itineraries. This is a standard feature of the Service, not a service degradation.
10. Changes to Subscription Features
Travel Pilot reserves the right to modify, add, or remove premium features at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes to premium features. If a change materially reduces the value of the premium subscription, you may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.
